Metatrader Data Centers
Data Centers or access points are specialized proxy servers that allow saving common traffic when the same quotes and news are sent to several client terminals simultaneously. Data Centers are located between the server and a Metatrader client terminal. Traders are connected to the server through the Data Center. That's why you are advised to leave Data Centers settings unchanged in order not to lose a connection between your terminal and the server.
If you still need to modify Data Center settings, please contact AvaFX Technical Support Service first. In the most cases, flagging "Data Center auto configuration" will be enough since the client terminal will select the most convenient access points automatically.
Manual Data Centers setup:
• Disable "Data Center auto configuration"
• Specify the IP address and the port number ([Data Center internet address] : [port number])
• Check the settings by clicking on "Test". If the connection is set correctly, you can start working.
• If you receive an error message, please contact our Technical Support for help.
Attention: You are strongly advised to use auto configuration of the Data Centers (and not the manual set up).
