Events Tab

Signals of system events are meant to inform the user about the changes in the Metatrader Platform Client Terminal status (not to be mixed up with alerts). To activate the list of events, flag Enable first. System events are:

• Connect — successful connection to the server;
   
• Disconnect — interrupted connection;
   
• Email Notify — there are new e-mail messages in your mailbox;
   
• Timeout — if the predefined time range for a certain operatin has been exceeded, it will not be executed.;
   
• OK — trading operation has been successfully executed.;
   
• News — you have received news, check the "Terminal — News" window;
   
• Expert Advisor — the program is executing a new trading operation;
   
• Expert Confirmation — if the Manual Confirmation is enables, you have to confirm Experts' trading operation.;
   
• Alert — performing of the Alert function by an expert advisor;
   
• Requote — price changed during preparation of a trade operation;
   
• Trailing Stop — triggering of the order of the same name.

If you want to disable any of the events, double-click on it. The second double-click will activate this event again. To each even you can assign available files specified in the Action field. By double-clicking on the file name and choosing another name form the pop-up list, you can change the file assigned to the event. metatrader.
